İlayda Eskitaşçıoğlu, Global Issues
İlayda Eskitaşçıoğlu, graduated from Bilkent University, Faculty of Law and she completed her Advanced Studies Master’s Program at Leiden University, European and International Human Rights Law. She continues her doctorate studies in the field of International Human Rights Law at Koç University. She is a lawyer registered in Ankara Bar Association. She is the co-founder of the “Konuşmamız Gerek Derneği”, which fights against the menstrual poverty and menstrual taboo in Turkey. Eskitaşçıoğlu’s academic interests are international human rights law, feminist legal theory, career and human rights, gender equality, sustainable development, reproductive and sexual rights, child labor. She was a part of the United Nations Women’s Youth Task Force on Equality for Generations and has been selected as the 17 Young Leaders for Sustainable Development Goals by the United Nations.
