Hi Friends,
It's a pointed gourd field. The farmer was pollinating the flowers. In case pointed gourd, one male plant is planted along with 9 female plants. Now-a-days, due to excessive application of pesticide the population of insects has been decreasing. As such artificial pollination is necessary in case of pointed gourd.
The farmer was pollinating artificially pollinating the male anther into the female flowers. By doing this activity the yield can be increased. It is done early in the morning.
