1959, On The Boats (Scilly Holiday, Part 1) Scillonian (II), Tean, Sheppey Queen and more!

Описание: Taken from an 8mm reel showing a 1959 holiday here is the first of many wonderful 8mm films that we'll pop up over the next few years for everyone to enjoy. This short film shows a trip on Scillonian (II), views of the harbour and St Mary's Pool along with a very rare appearance of "Sheppy Queen" which did a season on the islands in '59. You can spot Tean in there, and a few other classic boats; and it would be fantastic if you could shout out if you recognise any of them so we can give them credit too!

8mm professionally transferred by TVV Productions using high res, frame-by-frame scanning for the best possible results.

This particular 8mm wasn't the best lit of the reels (Perhaps shot at a very low ISO) but we are very excited to show you the next few which were recorded on a different camera, are of incredible quality, and have been transferred to a very high standard we wouldn't have been able to reach without TVV Productions expertise and top of the range equipment.
