Hi guys, this is my walk around Toronto's East Bayfront neighbourhood in Toronto filmed on May 15 2020 during a gloomy rainy day. Although it was warm out, between 11-12 degrees, there weren't many people out because of the cloudy weather. I had some older footage from earlier this month filmed during a sunny day, so I actually inserted that footage close to the Sugar beach area just so you guys can have a look at what it looks like with more people in the area.
I started this Toronto video out in Maple Leaf Square, and from there we start the East Bayfront walk at Lower Jarvis and Lakeshore. In the video, we get a chance to see the George Brown college campus waterfront location, the waterfront, and Sugar beach. Sugar Beach is a man made beach location, where sand was brought in to create the space. It's an elevated location above the lake, so you can't get in to the water, however there are chairs set up so that you can relax and enjoy the scenery. We also see the redpath sugar refinery and have a walk through the lower portions of Yonge Street and the Union Station bus terminal.
Thanks for watching!
