Today we explored our own backyard and went on hike / spirited walk through the Consumes River Preserve! This area is a great place for families with wide, flat paths, lots of wooden bridges and outcropping perfect for bird watching or eating snacks!
Information About the Consumnes River Area:
The Preserve is centered along the Cosumnes River, with opportunities for paddling, hiking, and nature viewing. There are over 4 miles of trails to explore at Cosumnes River Preserve! 13501 Franklin Blvd, is the location for both the Visitor Center and trailhead for both trails.
