Описание: This is quite a rare Telecaster style guitar, Philip Kubicki was formerly in charge of the Fender Custom Shop in the late 60s and early 70s and was the luthier who built George Harrison's famous rosewood Telecaster among many other famous Fender guitars of that era. This particular instrument dates to 1984, both the neck and the body are stamped and hand signed/dated by Kubicki. It features some very early Gotoh locking tuners, an original Fender Telecaster bridge with brass saddles, Van Zandt Vintage Plus pickups in a "Nashville" style setup with 5 way switch, a VERY fat sounding tone control circuit that is very wah-wah like for your Roy Buchanan tonal antics, all original finish. The guitar was refretted by the great Jim Mouradian in Boston a couple of years ago with medium jumbo frets, and is a 9.5" radius. Very comfortable modern C style neck that is a very nice happy medium - not a huge Nocaster neck, but not a skinny one either. The guitar was owned and operated by noted Jazz guitarist and Berklee professor Steven Kirby, it's featured on the cover of his album North Lights, and he owned it for nearly 30 years - which is why it looks so much like an authentic 50s blackguard. There's no fake "factory relic" finish on this guitar, it was broken in the real way through years of gigs, recording, and teaching.
