STEAMLabs Africa officially launched the Experience AI Programme in Kenya at iHub, Nairobi.
Developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in partnership with Google DeepMind, Experience AI is a structured curriculum for learners aged 11–14 that introduces the foundations of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
The programme helps students understand how AI systems are built, how data trains models, and why ethics, bias, and responsible innovation matter — moving beyond simply using AI tools.
The launch convened teachers, school leaders, policymakers, and partners to explore practical approaches to teaching AI literacy in Kenyan classrooms.
STEAMLabs Africa will lead local implementation across schools in Kenya.
