Hüseyin already tested the upgraded model of the MSA 220 T. He‘s impressed by these details.

The low-maintenance EC motor provides 2.100 watts electric power and it just weighs 2.7 kilos without battery, bar and chain. The MSA delivers Hüseyin more torque at lower speed, the Power Boost provides him extra short-term power when needed. And with the IPX 4 rating he is also able to work in the rain.

The 180° cockpit with its LED status display is comfortable and easy to use. The oil sensor warns him before he‘s running out of lubrication. Nothing new for him as an enthusiast - but still cool features ... the tool-less oil cap and the fold-out eyelet – back here.

STIHL has gone one step further with the upgrade and introduces some new accessories. At first the AP Strap Adapter 2-in-1 combines two advantages … outsourcing the battery for less weight in hands with the advantage of a strap.

As a second, the comfort hook, developed for an ergonomic and compact transport at the harness.

Hüseyin relies on a combination of the MSA 220 T with the smaller, lighter AP 200 S. This is also compatible now and deserves a comparable performance by less weight.
