Laos is one of those under-explored countries of Asia, rich in culture and tradition.
One such tradition has evolved in Vang Vieng; Tubing. Previously used as a means for locals to get from A - B, you can now visit Vang Vieng for a day of tubing and drinking on the Mekong Delta!
How do you tube? You hire a rubber tyre from the local tubing store and you throw yourself into the river (I suggest with a life-jacket, especially if you plan to drink) and let the current take you!
Along the way, you will have bars strategically established along the river side who will throw ropes at you which you can use to pull yourself in and grab a local pint.
