This session examines the cumulation of IP rights from a business perspective, focusing on how some creative sectors leverage multiple IP rights (including copyright) to protect and value their work. Among other, it explores the video game sector, situated at the intersection of innovation and creativity, and how it utilises these rights effectively.

Testimonies from cultural and creative sectors in Europe
A journalist, a music composer, a fashion designer, an actor and a writer offer each a testimony about how copyright is key to their creation, profession and for the public in general, showcasing the impact of technological developments on their creative processes and the exploitation of their works, to then provide their
recommendations on the issues the EUIPO Copyright Knowledge Centre should address as a matter of priority.
