MRKH (Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser Syndrome) is a rare condition where a girl is born with normal ovaries and external appearance but has no uterus, so she never starts her periods.
🔹 Girls with MRKH have normal female chromosomes (46XX).
🔹 They can marry and have sexual relations, but may face painful intercourse (dyspareunia).
🔹 Options like vaginal dilators or surgery (vaginoplasty) can help.
🔹 Natural conception isn’t possible, but options like adoption exist.
💙 With the support of a multidisciplinary team—gynecologists, counsellors, and surgeons—patients can lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Emotional support and counselling are key.
