I've received a few requests to post a multicam of Jon's newest single, "Night Shift", so here 'tis.
Audio is basically my ear mix with drums and bass DI up a bit for scrutiny's sake ;)
This is one of a couple of tunes in the set that Jon specifically asked for fewer ghost notes on the snare, just wanting that dig of 2 & 4. It's a deceptive song, seeming easy right up until you're responsible for the consistency of notes in a big room and pulling off some fills for movement that are complex enough for lifting the song but simple enough in form to not clog up an arena.
I enjoy this one each night, it's an exercise in feel versus tempo. I like the click just loud enough to hear when I'm off.
