You thought it was the end of it. But you were wrong. Let me tell you a (non-canon of course) story about this mysterious MissingNo.
They say Cinnabar Island is where Mewtwo was created, but in an alternate universe, this is not the case.
In this other universe, their attempts to recreate Mew into a new cloned Pokémon failed, more than they could ever imagine. This new clone was so immensely powerful, it made the gods look like nothing more than child's play.
This extremely powerful Pokémon was so unstable and strong, that it caused that entire universe to start to collapse in on itself, starting with the Pokémon World.
Somehow, this Pokémon survived by splitting itself into infinite fragments spread across infinite universes, to appear as what we know as "MissingNo", the missing entity.
Something happened however... And one of these MissingNo fragments regained some of it's power, and poses a threat to the universe it's inside of once again...
