This is my cello version of the song "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay. In recent years, many famous musicians have covered the song. Now I dared to record it myself with my Yamaha SVC210 and the Loopstation. I always find it surprising how a song with recurring sequences can have such a great success.
In 2008 the song was released and a few hours later it was already a hit in the charts. The song occupied top positions on various download portals for several weeks. Various Grammy awards followed afterwards.
