We're keeping Steve Coy's spirit alive 🕊

Pet Shop Boys first released a single called, • West End Girls (2018 Remaster) in April of 1984. It was later re-recorded and re-released in October of 1985, finally hitting No. 1 on the UK charts in January of 1986.
Dead or Alive released the single, • In Too Deep in June of 1985 for their album, "YouthQuake." They then remixed and re-released it a couple months later featuring more keyboard synth and autotune. (I used the album version) This single peaked at No. 14 in the UK singles chart, and No. 12 in Luxembourg and Ireland.
By pulling the drum stems from "In Too Deep," I replaced the drumming in "West End Girls" for more of a relaxed dance beat.
Both of these singles come from the British New-Wave scene that became popular in the late 70s/early 80s. They both also fade out at the end to indicate the song is over. So, while the other instruments fade out, you're given the raw drum stems to end on.
The album cover features the bands drummer, Steve Coy instead of their front man, Pete Burns. Pete exclusively sang vocals and Steve mainly played on drums. Logically, it makes sense to include Steve over Pete because he's the only element of Dead or Alive that's featured.
(besides Mike Percy's minor electric guitar playing to fill in any gaps)
Happy New Year!
