SCEPSIS 003 - microcode, instructions, PCT and INR

Описание: This is the third video in a new series about my SCEPSIS program.

In this video I talk about microcode (steps), operations or instructions and how the computer reads the instructions. I also show you a first glimpse of the SCEPSIS language definition file in which you can develop your own assembly language.

SCEPSIS is meant to be an educational tool to teach people about how a computer works. Topics will be: the hardware components level, the way components communicate, learn about control signals, micro steps, operation codes (opcodes) and ultimately Assembly instructions.

For the program to run you will also need some version of Rexx, a programming language; I tested SCEPSIS with Regina Rexx - with which it works on both Windows 10 and Linux - and the community has tested it with oorexx.
