Lord of the Rings Online (LOTRO) *Solo* Free Range ("Crosser of Roads") (sped up)

Описание: Welcome to this Lord of the Rings Online solo "Free Range" walk-through!

Lord of the Rings Online is an immersive MMO set in the world of Middle Earth. One of the things you can do in the Shire is help the chickens of Sandson's Farm (and the wider world) by becoming a chicken. If you complete enough quests, including "Free Range" (where you get 8 hours to find 24 Chicken Stones and talk to 15 creatures across large parts of Eriador), you get the title "Crosser of Roads".

I wanted to grab the "Crosser of Roads" title and noticed that while there were some good walk-throughs for if you have an escort, it was harder to find details on how to do the whole thing solo, with the biggest concern being The Bitter Stair.

I would like to give a special shout-out to "Mother Hen's Chicken Guide" on the LOTRO forums. (https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthre...) - I adapted it heavily to come up with a safer solo route.

The goal of the route you'll see in this video is to avoid unnecessary risk, and it takes around four hours to complete without breaks.

A few things to note about this run:

1) Turn on subtitles for where the chicken is currently heading.

2) We do the Bitter Stair Chicken Stone as early as possible, because if we mess up we'll only lose around 20 minutes of work.

3) We won't run from Aughaire to Tyrn Lhuig because we don't want to risk encountering a stealthy warg.

4) This route makes use of two of the three pairs of Strange Chicken Nest teleporters.

5) This route also contains two optional uses of "/stuck" to save some time and aggravation. (Leaving The Bitter Stair and Weathertop by teleporting to the nearest Rally Points.) Feel free to just run out instead if you prefer.

The rest of the run is pretty straightforward!

The only plugin I'll use for this run is Waypoint, which you can find on lotrointerface.com. (https://www.lotrointerface.com/downlo...) Since the places we're going to aren't quests objectives, they won't show up on the radar and we're going to want some help to make sure we're going in the right direction. If you haven't used it before, it is the arrow on-screen pointing me toward a destination.

This video plays the running-between-places parts at 10x speed, but slows down to 1x speed for each objective.
