ENSURING TECHNOLOGY focuses on tactile sensors and embodied AI infrastructure, developing both hardware and software entirely in-house. Their goal is to create a complete tactile sensing and computing platform for next-generation intelligent robots.
Their core product is an ultra-thin, high-density, sense-and-compute integrated multi-dimensional fingertip tactile sensor. Unlike traditional force sensors, it can detect both normal force and tangential force, enabling full 3D force field reconstruction.
Thanks to its extremely thin form factor, the sensor can be deployed across robotic systems including parallel grippers, dexterous robot hands, fingertips, finger joints, finger pads, and even the palm. The system supports high sensor density and high sampling rates, providing rich tactile data for manipulation tasks.
ENSURING has also developed a dedicated tactile data acquisition platform and a visual, teleoperation-friendly humanoid system, specifically designed for large-scale tactile modality data collection.
The parallel gripper version of the sensor is just 4.7 mm thick and can compute resultant force, resultant torque, and contact center (COP) in real time — offering a complete understanding of contact interactions.
