Vintage 1991 Franklin Mint - Star Trek The Original Series 25th Anniversary The Starship USS Enterprise NCC-1701 Precision Model With Display Stand - Former Shop Counter Display Item. Released by Franklin Mint in 1991 as part of the 25th Anniversary of The Original Series. This fantastic Star Trek The Original Series Starship Enterprise was precisely reproduced using the actual blueprints and is cast in high quality die cast metal with a super white finish with all the designs and markings of the cult Starship as seen in the TV series with the added bonus of the primary sensor disc plated with 22 carrot gold. The model features an opening shuttle bay which houses a mini Shuttlecraft Galileo which is also in diecast metal with the relevant designs and markings. An added special feature is the lift of bridge section from the saucer which reveals the complete bridge with all stations, captains chair and viewscreen. This famous Starship measures 38cms long by 17cms wide by 19cms when displayed on the stand, and is highly detailed and comes complete with the Display Stand with the logo on the side.
