Aekalavya dance festival is a Major festival of dance and music, and many dancer awarded as Aekalavya samman . Since many past year Aekalavya dance festival was celebrated in abroad with the vision to showcase and spread the rich heritage and culture of Odisha. Country like Malaysia, Dubai, Singapore have enjoyed the wonderful cultural diversity of India. Many eminent dancer from all over Country and out of country present there dancing on the stage of Aekalavya,it's a platform for all to show case there dancing skill. This time due to covid and pandamic situation it is not possible to do the festival in abroad so Aekalavya being decided to do its 12th edition in land of art and culture Odisha , Bhubaneswar this time.
It is an excellent initiative by Sangeet Ratna Saswat Joshi and his dance organisation Lasyakala . Lasyakala is a leading dance school in the city of Bhubaneswar now a time not only Bhubaneswar but also in many cities and Many part of the country including abroad it have its branch and giving dance education in a wide range. It was established in 2009 and now became a leading dance school in the supervision of youth icon himself guru Saswat Joshi.
