How To Throw-In | Youth Soccer Skills Tutorial

⚽ The purpose of this drill is to learn and master the throw-in

🔑 The keys to an effective throw-in are keeping both feet on the ground, keeping both hands on the ball, throwing from behind and directly over your head, and getting the ball accurately to your teammate

1️⃣ Two players stand across from each other, one with the soccer ball
2️⃣ The first player performs a standing throw-in to the other, who catches it and then performs a throw-in back
3️⃣ After some repetitions, players move further away and conduct throw-ins that include a jog-up and dragging of the back foot


📈 Practice this drill as frequently as needed to master the technique. All youth soccer players and positions should rehearse the throw-in until they are comfortable
