Seeing the sales slow on their incredibly successful classic monster model kit line, the Aurora corporation developed another line of toy/model kits to satisfy the appetite of young monster fans everywhere: Monster Scenes! Unfortunately, thanks to poor marketing and advertising choices, not to mention some outrageous and gruesome toy designs, the Monster Scenes line was short-lived. Parents and women's groups boycotted Aurora's parent company, Nabisco, and production was halted on Monster Scenes...just when things were getting good.
