Our Chief AI & Data Officer, Dr. Debarag Banerjee, participated in the panel discussion titled, 'AI in Financial Services: From Innovation to Impact.' Dr. Banerjee discussed our underwriting engine ‘Project Cyclops,’ which uses multiple machine learning models to process a 360-degree view of a customer.
Stressing upon the ‘Return on Data Investment’ for Cyclops, he mentioned that our Company’s credit costs have come down to almost one-third of what they used to be. He further mentioned that by leveraging digital fingerprints—such as UPI patterns and mobile data—alongside satellite and GIS imagery for rural regions, LTF is able to assess creditworthiness even where traditional financial data is unavailable.
