Willkommen zurück in Karins Latex-Klinik! Unser heutiger Patient ist ein zarter, transparenter Latexshorty, der wegen eines Risses im Schulterbereich zur Reparatur zu uns gekommen ist. Ein solcher Schaden ist natürlich kein Grund zum Verzweifeln - mit der richtigen Technik und Sorgfalt können wir ihm zu neuem Glanz verhelfen.

Für diese Aufgabe habe ich mir einen Verstärkungsstreifen aus hauchdünnem, transparentem Latex zurechtgeschnitten. Wie immer bei einer Reparatur ist eine gründliche Reinigung das A und O. Deshalb wurden sowohl der Streifen als auch der Bereich rechts und links des Risses sorgfältig gesäubert. Im nächsten Schritt trug ich den Latexkleber auf und ließ alles etwas trocknen.

Das Anbringen der Verstärkung ist der spannendste Teil der Reparatur. Mit Geduld und Fingerspitzengefühl habe ich den Riss geschlossen und die Verstärkung angebracht. Ein wenig Druck mit der Rolle sorgt dafür, dass alles fest sitzt und der Riss kaum noch zu sehen ist.

Timelapse 084: Shoulder Latex Body Repair. This is how it works!

Welcome back to Karin's latex clinic! Our patient today is a delicate, transparent latex shorthair that has come to us for repair due to a tear in the shoulder area. Of course, such damage is no reason to despair - with the right technique and care, we can help it shine again.

For this task, I cut myself a reinforcing strip of ultra-thin, transparent latex. As always with a repair, thorough cleaning is the key. Therefore, both the strip and the area to the right and left of the crack were carefully cleaned. The next step was to apply the latex adhesive and let everything dry a bit.

Applying the reinforcement is the most exciting part of the repair. With patience and dexterity, I closed the crack and applied the reinforcement. A little pressure with the roller makes sure everything is tight and the crack is barely visible.
