The Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD as the new suggests, is the rear wheel drive variant of the updated/facelift version of the V10 supercar. With the familiar 5.2 liter naturally aspirated 10-cylinder making 610hp and 560Nm, power is slightly reduced from the 4-wheel drive sibling and with a number of changes when compared to the EVO to be a purist model. Most intriguingly, it's also fundamentally the model on which the brand new Huracan STO is based - a car of great personal interest to myself.

The EVO RWD features all of the updated infotainment with Lamborghini's HMI but instead of the 4 wheel steering and torque vectoring, it makes use of clever settings with the traction control to offer superb stability for a lairy RWD beast with over 600 horsepower. Notably to me, there's a marked improvement to the feeling of the Lamborghini Dynamic Steering without the front wheels being linked to the powertrain and it has to be said, the EVO RWD makes for a brilliant country lane machine, despite the horrendous weather that falls my way.

During my visit to Lamborghini Pangbourne, where the team very kindly arranged the possibility to drive this stunning Huracan EVO RWD in Blu Symi with the Bronze 20" Narvi wheels, there are other discussions to be had about whether or not we're going to see a Huracan STO joining my garage of the Shmeemobiles before long!
