This is my cover of The Flashdance Love Theme, an instrumental track featured in the 1983 movie, Flashdance. It was originally written and produced by Giorgio Moroder and performed by Helen St.John.
The Flashdance Love Theme is one of my favourite Giorgio Moroder tracks from the 1980s.
My cover version here was recreated by ear from the ground up, and produced in Cubase 13 Pro.
Each individual sound is a blend of multiple VST instruments, including 5 digital pianos, 4 bass instruments, 2 pads and 2 pluck sounds playing an arpeggio that runs throughout.
I recorded each instrument layer separately (rather than just copying and pasting it) to achieve a less mechanical sound.
