K9 Valor Retires After 8 Years of Service!
Join us in saluting K9 Valor for his faithful service with the Lakeland Police Department. K9 Valor got a sendoff at his last official K-9 training day, joined by his fellow K-9 team members for a final farewell. He is off to enjoy a well-deserved retirement after serving the citizens of Lakeland for the past eight years!
Valor joined the LakelandPD team in 2013, partnered with Officer Cory Bowling for his entire career. Along with his normal duties each shift, Valor has won countless awards during USPCA certifications, finishing 2nd place several times at both the regional and national level competitions. During his career he assisted with 151 arrests and has been an immeasurable assets to both our K-9 Unit and our community.
