With residency applications going on, it reminds me of my own interview experience and how far we have come with cultural sensitivity and diversity, equity, and inclusion, and how far we need to go. Here are my three tips to improve diversity, equity, and inclusion in medicine.
As a Professor of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery with expertise in Head & Neck Surgical Oncology/Microvascular Reconstruction, I am dedicated to increasing awareness of this surgical subspecialty.
