I see crowds like seas of souls,
Within each oceans of gold
So full of stories, so barely told
And I think to myself, how strange it is
That we spend our life around each other, knowing nothing of our worlds within.

A thousand veils separate us

I don’t think it matters where we’ve been, what we’ve done and what we’ve seen
For when time dawns on the last day
We’ll all be headed the very same way.
We’re the same, you and I.
So maybe the next time we meet as passers by, we’ll have some kindness in our eyes
.

For we are ships sailing in open seas
,
Seeking our truths, among endless fallacies.
As I walk through the crowds, leaving worldly distortions behind
,
The colors seem brighter, and the world seems so much lighter
For I have come to realize,

That we’re just mirrors of one another.
