Описание: Amatullah had been Muslim for just one year when she received her cancer diagnosis. She had been received emotional support, as well as help to deal with homelessness, from Solace in that year prior.

Now Solace was supporting her at the end of her life, helping her say the shahadah at her hospital bedside, and after her passing, ensuring she received an Islamic burial.

Solace covered the cost of her burial and two sisters from Solace, including our founder and CEO Aliyah Umm Raiyaan, performed her ghusl and ensured she was buried according to Islamic rites.

After embracing Islam, Amatullah's non-Muslim family, including her children, abandoned her. Despite everything, she never lost her faith. She clung to Islam - learning how to pray, finding comfort in worship and placing her trust in Allah (SWT) even when her health declined.

When her family left her alone, Solace became her family.
