In this webcast, we discussed using stock trades with targets to generate income. We discussed various ways to determine targets including: swing targets, fibonacci based targets, targets based on ATR (average true range) and targets based on price patterns. As part of this discussion we placed a number of example trades with OCO(one cancels other) orders to exit at either the target price or an exit (stop loss order).

SCRIPTS: HOW TO ADD TO THE thinkorswim TRADING PLATFORM
Left Click on the Setup (Gear) Icon in the top right corner on Thinkorswim
Select Open Shared Item
In ”Shared Item URL:” Type the script (or copy/paste) into the field. Note: Scripts are case sensitive.
Click Preview
When ”Import Item as:” appears, rename the script (something that makes sense to you!)
Click import.

If it is a study for a chart:
Go to ”Studies Beaker”- Left Click
Choose Edit Studies
Type in Name of your Script. Highlight it.
Click ’Add Selected’
Choose ’Apply’

If it is a study for a watchlist:
Lift Click on the ‘Sprocket Icon’ at the top of the Watchlist
Choose Customize
Type in Name of Script
Choose ‘Add Item’.
Click ‘OK’ (Bottom right corner)
