How to connect item aluminium profiles without profile machining using the Automatic-Fastening Set?

What are the special features of the Automatic-Fastening Set?
It connects two profiles of the same line with a force-fit connection.
No additional profile machining is required.
It is always used in pairs.
There are variants for connecting two profiles from different lines, e.g. from line 6 to 8.
It is highly resistant to twisting, displacement, bending and torsion.
With the Automatic-Fastening set, profiles can be easily retrofitted and moved in constructions.


What tools and equipment do I need for the Automatic-Fastening Set?
For quick installation of the automatic fastening set, we recommend using a cordless drill. The following bit inserts are required to screw in the sleeve:
Line 5: 4 mm A/F
Line 6: 5 mm A/F
Line 8: 6 mm A/F
Line 10: 8 mm A/F
Line 12: 8 mm A/F
To tighten the hexagon socket head cap screws, we recommend ball headed keys and a reversible ratchet with a long screwdriver insert (standard). All information on the necessary tool sizes can be found in the video and shop.
 


The video is divided into the following steps:

00:06 First, the screw is inserted into the sleeve.

The screw can help to guide the sleeve straight when screwing it in.

00:15 The sleeve is screwed into the profile groove

The sleeve has a left-hand external thread.

00:22 The sleeve must protrude slightly to prevent the joint from twisting

00:25 If the profile is retrofitted, the sleeve is screwed in flush with the profile surface.

00:36 The Automatic-Fastening Set 5 is shown being assembled.

For line 5, the sleeve is always screwed in flush with the profile surface and so that the flattened section faces the T-slot opening.

00:53 The T-slot nuts are pre-positioned

Tip: A screwdriver with a 3 mm flat head is suitable for the distances between the T-slot nuts for line 8.
