V for Valentine

Описание: Growing up I always wished to have a wolf (or a Pokémon haha) that I could bring with me anywhere… but that was unlikely.

I posted online if anyone knew of a Husky, Kleekai, or Malamute puppy. A college friend (who returned to Japan) randomly knew his friend in LA, who had a Siberian Husky litter and connected me.

At first I was told I could have a blue eyed pure white male. Then a family member wanted him. Then I was offered an amber hazel eyed female. Another family member wanted her. Finally I was given the last pick of the litter, Valentine at 3 months old. The most wolf-looking and the best pick for me.

Little did I know she would become an irreplaceable once in a lifetime, loving, wolf companion. I always loved to say she was “the best husky you’ll ever meet in your lifetime.”

I raised her very strict, but really I was lucky she had the personality and temperament to enjoy being in front of a camera. She did photo/video shoots (a dogfood commercial, google phone commercial, and a YG music video among them). She could always sense beyond what eyes could see. And most of all, she was nearly always with me, no matter what part of world I was in.

Part of my mourning process was to create a video (from 14 years of footage) to capture the memory of her. We gladly share a glimpse of her life. Just as with all dogs and animals (and yes even humans haha), we were blessed to have had you in our lives,
