Day 1: Delhi - Dehradun - Sankri

Our journey begins in Delhi, where we board a train to Dehradun. Upon arrival in Dehradun, we take a bus to Sankri, our base camp for the trek. We check into a cozy hotel, have a delicious dinner, and receive a thorough trek briefing from our experienced trek leader.

Day 2: Sankri - Juda Ka Talab

After a hearty breakfast, we set off on our trek from Sankri to Juda Ka Talab, a glacial lake nestled amidst picturesque meadows and pine forests. The trail is covered in a thick blanket of snow, creating a magical winter wonderland.
Along the way, we witness the beauty of the Himalayas, taking in the snow-capped peaks, crystalline streams, and vibrant flora. After covering a distance of 4 kilometers in 5 hours, we reach Juda Ka Talab, where we spend the night enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.

Day 3: Juda Ka Talab - Lohasu

On our third day, we embark on our trek to Lohasu, our third base camp, situated at an altitude of 11,250 feet. The trail is a moderate ascent, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
After 3 hours of trekking, we reach Lohasu, where we are greeted by the mesmerizing sight of snow-covered meadows and towering peaks. We spend the afternoon building a snowman, enjoying a warm lunch, and preparing for the summit push.

Day 4: Lohasu - Kedarkantha Summit - Sankri

Summit day arrives, and we wake up at 2 am to a starlit sky. After a quick breakfast, we begin our ascent to Kedarkantha peak, using headlamps to guide our way.
The climb is challenging, but the excitement of reaching the summit fuels our determination. After hours of trekking, we reach the summit, and the view is breathtaking. The snow-capped peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a panorama of unparalleled beauty.
We spend some time soaking in the incredible views, capturing the moment with photographs, and celebrating our accomplishment. Then, we begin our descent back to Sankri, filled with a sense of exhilaration and awe.

Day 5: Departure

On our final day, we bid farewell to the majestic Himalayas and board a bus back to Dehradun. From there, we take a train back to Delhi, carrying with us the memories of an unforgettable adventure.
