Alignment and “invisible steering”
You’re not only verifying facts anymore. You’re verifying what was emphasized, what was ignored, and what moral frame you’re being nudged into over time. Different AI systems can answer the same question differently—so you must pay attention to the direction of the nudge.

• “Your bank account is compromised—verify your login immediately.”
• “You owe taxes—pay today or you’ll be arrested.”

If it includes panic + urgency, assume it’s manipulation until proven otherwise.

If they can’t verify: you do nothing, no matter how emotional it sounds.
