For 200 years, one question has haunted historians, divided scholars, and been deliberately left unanswered: How old is the Rigveda REALLY?

In this landmark podcast, @harrysahota_hh joins @TarunBindlish to present what no one has ever done before — dating the Rigveda using UNDENIABLE archaeological evidence. Not speculation. Not assumptions. Not mythology. HARD PROOF that connects Vedic texts directly to excavated sites, artifacts, and timelines that CANNOT be disputed.

The Pashupati Seal, discovered at Mohenjo-daro and dated to around 2300 BCE, is one of the most debated artifacts of the Indus Valley Civilization.

For over a century, scholars have asked:

Is this Shiva? Or something else entirely?

In this conversation, we examine:

Why John Marshall first called it the Pashupati Seal

The missing Shiva symbols — especially the snake

The seal’s yogic posture and wild-animal imagery

Why Rudra is described as a wild god in the Rigveda

How a strikingly similar horned figure appears in Celtic Europe

Why the European seal survives intact while the Indus seal is broken

A 2,300-year gap — yet nearly identical iconography

We also explore:

The earliest non-controversial Shiva evidence

Why Shiva-linga worship appears after, not before

Why the absence of Shiva-linga references in early Vedic texts actually makes sense

This episode doesn’t force conclusions.

It asks a harder question:

Are we looking at coincidence — or a much older shared symbolic language?

Archaeology doesn’t give easy answers.

But sometimes, it gives patterns that refuse to be ignored.
