Tri-District Band Festival
Tonight`s concert is considered to be a "work in progress" performance using a common festival format that bands perform in throughout the country. The purpose behind the event is educationally based. Each band will perform a variety of band literature that they have been working on throughout their last cycle. In the audience, there are three judges who are giving written and typed comments for each of the ensembles.
In addition, each band will receive an on-stage critique by each judge. The purpose of this critique is so that every opportunity is given to the judge to share some of their feedback with the students. The judge will be using a microphone so that the audience may hear the feedback.
