Today Tim reviews Washington Hills Late Harvest Riesling. Washington Hills is a winery located in Washington State as the name of the winery may suggest. The term "Late Harvest" is used to describe how the grapes are left on the vines longer than normal. This allows the grapes to garner more sugar in them, resulting in a sweeter wine. Strong aromas of peach on the nose. That peach follows through onto the palate with a heavy body. The extra sugar content is really prevalent making this a perfect wine for those who enjoy the sweeter things. Cheers!
