I'm working on slowing down the Reising M50 by adding weight to the reciprocating action bar. I bolted a wooden mounting block to the action bar, and then started adding steel weights. I initially started with 22 oz, which was too much weight to allow the action to cycle. I slowly reduced weight until I found an extra 12.75 oz. would run reliably, and gave a noticeably slower rate of fire than the stock setup. Going back up to 15 oz started inducing malfunctions again.
Now I need to work up something a little better than steel bars and tape. Following that, I've got a couple of ideas for a stock that is large enough up front to cover a larger action bar, to keep you from getting your hand whacked by a high-speed action bar.
