August 18, 2019 Amahoro | The Peace Exchange in Rwanda tells the story of our seven 2019 Peace Builders as they journey to Rwanda.
From June 25 to July 8, 2019, the young leaders traveled through the East African country as part of the yearlong Peace Builder leadership program. They participated in educational and interactive activities, including visits to genocide memorials, conversations with survivors and the perpetrators, peace classes at the Kigali Genocide Memorial, meetings with Rwandan youth leaders, home stays with local families, a safari, and attendance at the national July 4th Liberation Day commemoration.
