Описание:
As per salesforce the static resource should only be used for storing css, js and image files. Since static resource are accessible to any authenticated users whether it may be public/private.
In order to avoid any data like test data/mock response compromised to hacker avoid using static resource and explore asset files option instead. Refer salesforce documentation before making any decision.
