The first Made in Pakistan EV plant is set to open in Lahore, with vehicles expected to launch by mid 2026. These locally produced EVs are projected to cost under one million rupees and offer a range of up to 200 kilometers per charge. Authorities also plan tax incentives and a subsidy programme of around 100 billion rupees, alongside new lithium battery facilities to strengthen local manufacturing and future exports.
