During the period from 16 to 28 September, the 1st measurement campaign of SCIPPER project on shipping emissions was implemented in Marseille, France. The campaign mainly targeted to monitor, by using various remote techniques, the compliance of ships to the existing emission limits, before the introduction of the global fuel sulphur content cap at the beginning of 2020.
Members of the SCIPPER consortium who participated in the campaign explain in this video the overall concept of the performed shipping emissions measurements.
The SCIPPER project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement Nr.814893.
