Yet another restoration project - a 1966 Volkswagen Beetle!
In this video, I start the tear down process, assessing the areas that need attention and prepping the body for panel repair and paint.
This Bug came as a rolling chassis, however I already picked up a correct 1300cc engine that runs! Will be resealing the engine at least. We'll also be replacing the suspension, brakes, steering and giving the car a fresh coat of paint (with a bit of a color change!)
But it's not just about the mechanical work - we'll also be restoring the interior to its original condition. From the seats to the dashboard, we'll be bringing back the vintage look and feel that made the Beetle such an iconic car.
