Описание: A major setback for the makers of Vijay starrer Jana Nayagan as the Supreme Court dismissed KVN Productions’ plea seeking immediate CBFC clearance for the film.

The apex court has asked the producers to raise all their arguments before the Madras High Court’s Division Bench, directing it to endeavour to hear and decide the appeal on January 20.

The film was submitted for certification in December, with the CBFC initially agreeing to grant a U/A 16+ certificate subject to modifications. However, following a complaint citing the use of armed forces-related emblems, the CBFC Chairperson referred the film to a Revising Committee, triggering a legal battle that continues to unfold.
