Notes about the Boss Battle
The first Master story boss you face is always gonna be the hardest. This is because higher level gear require materials from all of Wealth, Power and Fame. If you see in this video, most of my gear is about lvl 14 and there is nothing I can do about it until I start the other stories. But I wanted to make a cohesive story so I can only blame myself. The easiest way to tackle this problem is to finish each chapter for all three before advancing to the next chapter.
Gear matters a lot in this game. If you are lvl 20, but equip makeshift weapons and lvl 2 gear, your characters will perform as if they are lvl 2. Level does give the advantage of a bit more HP/SP and more skill choices, however. But make sure to update your gear if you are having difficulties!
The safest strategy here is to use your boost points to shave shields. You don't want to give the boss more than 2 actions between breaks, because we don't have reliable healing at this point and he hits hard. Our nuking options are also very limited, so it makes less sense to save BP for nuking during break.
