ODSTs, Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, or Helljumpers, were some of the best soldiers of the United Nations Space Command (UNSC). They came from all military branches of the UNSC, and underwent special training. ODSTs were known for literally jumping feet first into battle, through the use of their orbital drop pods.
Death Troopers were one of the most advanced soldiers of the Galactic Empire - they were not only selected to be the best of the best, but also physically augmented.
