If you’re a tube amp lover, you know that voltage matters! ⚡ But should you go with the AmpRx BrownBox or the new Brownie? In this video, we break down the key differences between these two devices and help you decide which one best suits your setup.

BrownBox – If you have a vintage amp this is the product for you. The BrownBox offers more voltage reduction than the Brownie. If have 122 coming out of the wall, the BrownBox can get you down to about 106. The BrownBox cannot increase the voltage coming out of the wall.

Brownie – If you have a modern 120v amp this is the product for you. If you have 122 coming out of the wall, you can step it down in one volt increments down to 115v. The Brownie can also step up the starting voltage coming out of the wall +3v, +5v which is perfect if you are running off a generator or in an area with low power.
