Breakfast Debate #27: ACROSS – New Interactive Features of the EU Data Hub for Border Regions

Описание: On Thursday, 12 February 2026, the Border Focal Point Network hosted the 27th Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debate – “ACROSS: New Interactive Features of the EU Data Hub for Border Regions.”

This debate presented the latest improvements to the Data Hub for EU Border Regions, developed under the ACROSS (Data and Analysis for Cross-Border Regions) project. The session introduced new interactive features and showcased a web-based mapping application designed to improve the visualisation and exploration of qualitative cross-border data.

Building on the launch of the Data Hub in 2024, the updated platform now integrates harmonised geospatial and socio-economic datasets covering areas such as public services, transport, governance structures, border obstacles and cross-border solutions. A key focus of the debate was how the new web mapping tool enhances access to and understanding of qualitative spatial data across EU border regions.
