The scheduled timing of polling for the Telangana Municipal Elections-2026 came to an end at 5 p.m. on Wednesday (February 11, 2026). Only people who entered polling stations before 5 p.m. were allowed to vote and others were barred. The final voter turnout percentage was 73.01%, according to information from Telangana State Election Commission.
The voting to elect Councillors and Corporators began at 7.00 a.m. The polls were conducted in 2,569 Wards in 116 Municipalities and 412 Wards in seven Municipal Corporations across the State. The polling percentage, which was 11.6% till 9 a.m., increased to 28.48,% till 11 a.m., 48.54% till 1 p.m. and 62.09% till 3 p.m., according to information from Telangana State Election Commission.
